Frequently Asked Questions
What about copyright protection?

TCT Newsletters LLC maintains all copyrights to the newsletter. We license you to print or email the number specified in your purchase agreement. Any change in this agreement must be agreed to by both you and TCT Newsletters, LLC.

Reselling the newsletter is not allowed.

Posting to an Internet site is not allowed.

Is there a money back guarantee?

Yes. If you decide that you do not want the newsletter, you will receive a prorated refund based upon the number of newsletters already mailed and the remaining balance. For example, if you have paid for a year and only receive three issues before you cancel, you receive a refund for nine issues.

Why do you use black and white?

bulletA one color approach is practical and economical.
bulletEach of our screen shots have been meticulously cleaned and processed to provide the best quality for reproduction in black and white.
bulletAlthough there have been many advances in color printing, it is still expensive and not realistic for most organizations.

What do I get when I buy?

You purchase the opportunity to distribute the Tips, Clicks, and Timesavers™ newsletter to your organization up to the limit set by your purchase agreement. The limit is based on the “honor system.” Tips, Clicks, and Timesavers™ newsletter is priced so reasonably that we hope organizations will honor the agreement.

Why is this service so reasonably priced? What’s the deal?

bulletWe have priced our service so that it will get purchased and used. We don’t have stale inventory that just sits on the shelf.
bulletWe run a tight ship. We don't waste money on unnecessary things like expensive office furniture or meetings in far off places. We don’t offer toll-free telephone numbers as a way to cut costs.
bulletWe make sure that every advertising dollar pays for itself. We know our market and we know how to help our customers. We stay focused on our core business.

We are happy to tell you that we are a small but profitable company. No frills, no unwanted products or services, just good old-fashioned business.

What type of support is available?

We periodically provide you with different ideas on uses for the newsletter. These focus articles and tips are included in your monthly newsletter delivery. We will also call you to make certain the newsletter delivery and distribution is going well. If necessary, we will offer ways to help you maximize the service.

One important note, we are not a help desk and cannot take calls from your employees. If your employee calls, we will direct them back to you. We always want to hear from you. If you have a question or comment, just call or email us.

May I put my logo on the newsletters?

Logo placement can easily be completed for an additional $60 per year.

Due to the variations of file formats and placements, please be patient with the process of getting your logo into the right position. We are willing to work it until it is just right. Please be aware that it may take a couple of email exchanges to get it done.

May I put specific company news into the newsletter?

Yes and no. The way we keep Tips, Clicks, and Timesavers™ so reasonably priced is to provide a set content around the world. Many organizations provide supplemental information on a separate sheet. These sheets offer information specific to your company or organization. With some creativity, you can make your separate sheet complement Tips, Clicks, and Timesavers™.

May I put the newsletter on a website?

No, the Tips, Clicks, and Timesavers™ agreement does not allow posting to a website.

May I edit the materials?

No, Tips, Clicks, and Timesavers™ is sent in Adobe Acrobat format and all editing capabilities are disabled. The newsletter agreement specifies that the newsletter be delivered in tact and without modification. If you have specific improvements that you would like to see in the newsletter or if you have suggestions for article topics, please contact us.

Why PDF rather than HTML?

Adobe’s PDF format allows for both onscreen viewing and excellent printing. Adobe Acrobat Reader has become the standard for the exchange of information. We want to produce a newsletter that has excellent onscreen viewing and excellent print capabilities. PDF is the answer to our needs and the needs of our customers.
